teammate: urban running

Teammate is a social fitness app that matches people with partners who share their goals, interests, and schedules. For the campaign, I developed a visual system built around glowing “player rings” — a video-game–inspired cue that links each pair of teammates, signaling compatibility, synced energy, and the moment they connect. Across every sport, the rings serve as the anchor of the brand’s identity.

Shot at blue hour in San Francisco, this set captures motion and rhythm in the city. The glowing rings track the runners as they move, creating a game-like energy. I directed the shoot and handled the full motion-stabilized VFX pass to ensure the rings feel naturally tethered to each athlete.
