Teammate is a social fitness app that matches people with partners who share their goals, interests, and schedules. For the campaign, I developed a visual system built around glowing “player rings” — a video-game–inspired cue that links each pair of teammates, signaling compatibility, synced energy, and the moment they connect. Across every sport, the rings serve as the anchor of the brand’s identity.

Shot on rock faces in Berkeley with two climbers, this set leans into grit, texture, and total focus. We used the natural contours of the boulders and low forest light to frame the glowing rings, making them feel carved into the environment. I directed the session and handled all retouching and VFX to deliver a grounded, cinematic look that highlights teamwork, trust, and shared effort.
