Created with haute couture designer Mila Rivkin and model Kimberly Scott, this winter series was shot across multiple days and locations in Montréal at subzero temperatures. Produced for a print submission to ELEGANT Magazine — where it was ultimately published — the concept explores the hidden emotional world of a bride in the hours leading up to her wedding. Each image embodies a distinct inner state the world rarely sees: rage, fear, courage, hopelessness, apprehension, hope, coyness, and joy.

I photographed and retouched the full series, shaping a cinematic, icy atmosphere that contrasted the delicacy of the gowns with the rawness of those private emotions.
